This animation shows the entire algorithmic procedure that associates a equilateral pentagon (modulo translation and rotation) to a specific point in the hyperbolic plane.
Each point of the hyperbolic plane is associated with one instance of the linkage and all instances are adressed this way.
From the point in the hyperbolic tiling coordinates for the points on the unit circle are calculated.
And from there (via Springborn normalization) the directions of the bars of the linkage are derived.
